Intelligent, driven leadership that values getting things done over bureaucracy and red tape. Good benefits and remote work culture. Be very aware that this is a work environment for self-starters. You will fail if you're a person who needs things spelled out for you, very clear goals/definitions, and to be told what to do each day. If you're a person who is a "doer" and comfortable reaching out to get what you need to do your job, you'll likely succeed and enjoy working here.

Cons

Specific to recruiting - it's unique that recruiting reports to Legal here. Haven't seen anything negative come from it, but I do feel we're undervalued without reporting to a Chief People Officer who can advocate for the value of recruiting as a business partner. It's also clear our current legal leader has no clue the job challenges, hurdles we face (naturally), and therefore cannot empathize/provide encouragement/resources etc.

Really solid employee benefits and good pay. Excellent business model with vast up-side potential as they expand to additional market segments and regions. Continues to maintain a dedication to remote work for those who find this important. Some of their technology is truly world-class and industry leading, and really meaningfully contributes to human safety.

Cons

Almost non-existent coaching, mentorship, and opportunity. They strongly prefer to hire experts where somebody else has done the hard work already.
