Pros

Great salary. Consistent raises. Pension.

Cons

Impossible to move up into management because they want to keep people as floor nurses. Terrible morale. Health benefits are terrible. They expect you to do more work with less staff. It’s not about the patient anymore.

Growth - Mount Nittany has been able to remain independent and strong in this ever changing healthcare industry. It has presented many opportunities for promotion and growth within.

Cons

Although with growth comes constant change which can be challenging for some people. I think you need to know that going into this industry in general, but it does feel like MNH is going at max speed and that can be exhausting.
