Pros

Mount Sinai is only concerned with money

Cons

Long Hours and weekends. No Compensation for anything you do. No raises. Senior Level Management only care about themselves. No room for growth. Always told if you don't like it you can leave.

Pros

The name means something. but that's about it.

Cons

Where do I begin. It's all about leadership. Employees don't count and they make you feel it. It's all about leadership getting bonus at the end of the year. morale is very low and they are too stupid or don't care to notice. Very disappointed with this organization. Right now they are just running on they name. The Culture is very, very bad.

Pros

Large and growing social work department. Interesting opportunities such as attending conferences Tuition reimbursement $2,300 Decent health benefits but cost increases every year good SW clinical experience Ability to obtain hours for LCSW Can work with limited permit until LMSW is obtained

Cons

If you look closely, institutional racism runs deeps. Outpatient social workers are mostly all of color and when jobs postings list "preferred spanish speaking." Most inpatient specialities med surg, etc are social workers who look a specific way. (not POC) No room for growth, the new incoming SW program coordinators are White and non spanish speaking and not promoted from within. Little room for growth or promotion. Lack of support for program coordinators
