      - 403(b) program is great - 29 paid days of vacation/year - many training and educational programs to improve yourself - great medical, dental, and vision benefits

      Cons

      - High turnover rate in some departments - Skill and educational level is varied for different people within the same department - Some leadership and management skills lacking among upper management - Too many political issues in the institution

      Pros

      Excellent work environment, some of the best scientific minds in the world in the virology field. The whole medical center is pushing for excellence and its obvious from day 1.

      Cons

      Some facilities are older, but are all currently being updated and a new research building is currently under construction. Space can be limiting, but thats NYC for you.

      Excellent doctors and higher-level patient care.

      Cons

      Lack of respect for the support staff. Much of the attempt at patient-centered care is ineffective - i.e. surveys.
