Pros

Great benefits. 20 days vacation from day and exceptional health care coverage. Direct managers for the most part genuinely care about their employees. Seems to be a place to make a career if you can take or are insulated from the backstabbing and politics.

Cons

Unless you are a political animal and are willing to step on others to get a ahead, you will merely survive at Sinai. Senior management (C-level) will make disparaging remarks about other employees and will openly berate employees in meetings.

Pros

No. It's really hard to find anything without crazyness and greed here. Wouldn't suggest anyone to work here unless you don't care to be screwed up.

Cons

Unless you can bring in millions dollars, don't even think about getting a job here because you will be treated as a slave.

Pros

It's a fairly famous hospital that has a good reputation for excellence in medical care. The patient population they treat is great. Very nice people who deserve and appreciate great care. There is a good mix of poor and indigent patients accompanied with those that are VPs and CEOs of major companies.

Cons

The place is huge! There is so much waste and redundancy that it is unbelievable. A lot of the management was chosen due to their popularity rather than their ability to lead. There is a lot of back room negotiations and sometimes things make absolutely no sense. When a management position becomes available it seems like it is given to the person that will put up the least resistance and simply say 'yes' to what the administrators want to do. There is no outlet for a regular employee to give someone an idea and get the proper recognition.
