Movement Mortgage reviews

I was promised that I'd be placed in a Real Estate office upon hire. Almost a year later, I am pounding the pavement for business. Also: they are about 150 bps over market. Faith is nice, but they are cult-ish about it.

Movement used to be a place I got excited about. They used to genuinely value their people, and had a vision beyond themselves. The last couple of years unfortunately that has all gone out the window. They care nothing for their employees, and it has turned into a literal sweat shop. They fired 75% of their workforce because of "the economy," yet the numbers continue to show otherwise, and they continue to give away millions of dollars and build schools around the country for the public eye to think they are "oh so holy," while their employees struggle mentally to carry the work load of what should be 2-3 employees (being promised for MONTHS that they will get more people on their team, false), and also struggle financially as they are being denied even a cost of living raise years in a row, which is actually equal to a pay CUT in this economy. For a Christian company that boasts of "loving and valuing" people, perhaps they should actually read the Bible, as mine says in 1 Timothy 5:8 that "those who don’t provide for their own household while providing for others are false in their faith and worse than one who has no faith." I am not only disappointed in this company as a whole, but infuriated by the treatment we endure. Can't wait to get out.
