Pros

Movement has only one pro and that is the food provided by the Thrive team on Fridays besides that this company is horrible.

Cons

Movement is probably the most racist mortgage company in the industry and they treat their non white employees as such. There are no ethnic diversity in upper management aka: ALL are white. HR doesn't listen to the concerns of employees especially if they turn their manager in for ill practices. Also Movement forces their religious culture on ppl (so if you are not Christian be prepared to get discriminated on). Managers have a way to go astray from the corporate culture that they sell you on and can do whatever they please to you even going astray from their handbook and racially discriminating on you. I'm being honest! They also ask individuals to go to Glassdoor and make up reviews to curve the true negative reviews this company gets. This company is Hell and they have a bunch of devilish practices that could get their mortgage license taken and a ton of EEOC lawsuits. I need someone to please investigate this company fast. They will respond with that fake "best of luck on your new season" cheesy response because they know it is true. Glassdoor should stop the fake reviews from you all as well. I have emails that can prove they reach out to employees to ask if they can write positive reviews on here. Btw the pay sucks as well and not even industry standard.

Pros

They provide free coffee and soft drinks. You have the ability to purchase food in the lunch room area.

Cons

There is no Christian environment. It is horribly and unnecessarily competitive. Whether you typically have that mindset or not, you have to quickly realize everyone is out for themselves. If you excel quickly you become a threat and are ostracized and bullied. There are a lot of rumors spread. Nothing is done about employees behavior toward other employees especially if they already have personal relationships with executive staff. There is no upward mobility unless you go to WAVE Church or know executive level management. If you request to transfer to another department or apply for a different position you're superiors get mad at you and treat you like crap. People walk out and quit all of the time because there is a lack of work and life balance especially in specific departments. I saw people crying, taking medication, energy shots and drinks, and drinking alcohol just to get through the day. You barely get a lunch break. The benefits and vacation time are minimal. There is no team environment. The training is severely lacking and once you're in your position, unless you are executive management or a trainer your not permitted to obtain additional training within the company or outside there of.

Pros

Not much to say about their values. Lack of respect for employees and opportunities to favorites only. too many clickish groups & upper management very cold and uncaring.

Cons

They lay off people after rounding them up like livestock, drive them into a room and read a very cold statement about company not meeting goals and must reduce staff. Only to find out that they turn around and buy up another mortgage company for millions maybe billion dollar. They have a motto of Love and Value people and our employees and it's boggus. Every Friday morning they have a company gathering to tell everyone how much money company is making and it's all on our backs and hard work...then they turnaround and slam you. Not too christian as they claim to be....it's money, and forget your love values. Spend too much money on so called "missionary "trips.
