Pros

There are many, many excellent teams working on cool projects with world class technical expertise.

Cons

Mozilla (the story) doesn't match Mozilla (the company) anymore.

It's all over

Pros

There are many good people that care about something still at Mozilla.

Cons

Firefox has been dying without a distribution channel for years. Mozilla can't sustain itself without the Google deal. The DOJ lawsuit remedy may be the end. New leadership are mostly con artists with no plan.

It’s gotten so bad. Just burn it all down.

Pros

There are some genuinely good people left in the ranks. But, those numbers are dwindling, and are being replaced by tech bros and sycophants that are truly so bad at their jobs it’s hard to imagine.

Cons

There’s so much corruption in leadership…it’s unbelievable. Unfortunately, the “best” thing you can do is to keep your mouth shut, emphatically agree with everything they say (even when it is wrong and unethical), and completely sell your soul. It’s what everyone in leadership has done, and it’s the only way you’d be able to get ahead here. Or else they’ll just lay you off for being “a problem”.
