Pros

- Opportunities to apply structured problem-solving across diverse industries - The heart of the company sits in India, where teams of enthusiastic and highly-talented folks throw themselves at any and every problem with a pretty high degree of success - Occasionally you'll get to work with very smart people

Cons

- Horrid working culture. Consider yourself extremely lucky to be mentored, guided or even to work with a polite manager who isn't constantly trying to emulate the CEO's hard-charging, toxic behavior - Borderline exploitation of team-members in India with unreasonable working hours, salary - Missing middle-management layer, both in India and onsite positions. The company thrives on the efforts of new college grads who need to be managed, guided and mentored by more experienced folks. They've been unsuccessful in retaining such a layer. - Unethical practices, where both clients and employees are victims. A consequence of its "do whatever it takes" mindset.

Pros

1. Lot of learning 2. Chance to solve a variety of problems 3. Chance to interact with directors

Cons

1. Work can get really hectic esp because the offshore team is not always capable as they are mostly fresh graduates. 2. There are no perks 3. Not all the work is of high quality. Mu Sigma is at a stage where it is taking up a lot of work to penetrate into as many businesses as possible. Hence, some of the work can get really monotonous 4. Some clients look at Mu Sigma just for data pulls, it takes considerable effort to win their trust and add value.
