      Good co-workers, plenty of OT if you want it, benefits solid

      We are sorry that you have had a poor experience with staffing at MultiCare. As a registered nurse, please know that you have available to you a “Staffing Committee” at each hospital. You may bring any staffing-related concern to Staffing Committee and it will be reviewed and addressed. Other options available to you are to reach out directly to HR to speak with someone or submit a case in our Employee Resource Center. No matter which you choose, please know that your employee experience is important to us. MultiCare offers several resources to its employees to hear and resolve staffing concerns.

      Some of the nurses here are wonderful people. They work hard and are very dedicated.

      Cons

      As another reviewer said, "Because its a union company, it is hard to flush out lazy employees." I would add that everyone seems to walk on eggshells at MC. They seem afraid to speak up about lazy employees and those not doing their jobs. Management seems very concerned about what patients think ...but much less concerned about those giving the care. Time for a flush out of time wasters and lazy under producers. If staff wasn't so afraid to speak up maybe some of the recent events at GS wouldn't have happened.

      Very poor upper management, favoritism, they are too big to really stabilize bad leaders.
