Although PTO is great, good luck feeling OK to use it. HR is a joke anymore. No focus on retention outside of “educational opportunities” and benefits. Employee benefit contribution in 2022 exceeded wage adjustments and reduced benefits. Still, only focused on paying for housing for new hires and ignore outcry of wage disparity w current staff. Look at reviews here - wages are below average. VERY out of touch leadership - meetings are almost cult like w pushing “blazing the values trail” and mandating managers promote it even though leadership doesn’t. It’s nuts. Leadership ignores tough questions at meetings, only answer positives and marginally neutral questions. Didn’t realize how underpaid I was until I started looking elsewhere. Other systems in Michigan put Munson to shame. Don’t even get me started on patient care - leadership is more interested in $$ vs putting resources toward corrective measures to improve care. Zero accountability by leadership. Zero.

Low pay and it's hard to find housing you can afford at munson pay. Also, they don't do overtime for almost anyone who is not a nurse.
