Pros
Having a job. Getting pay and building a career. Overall, there are no pros. The only challenge you will get is taking work from your EIC and SC. They tend to hand off all their work load to FSE and call it a day after OPs meeting.
Cons
It's not a technical job as stated. More like an Olympic course. Management are really bad, customers are always right. The training here is a joke. More like the blind leads the blind. Raises are worst than any other corporate. 1% to 2%. Raises aren't even base on performance, more like favoritism and who your manager are. More likely, your reviews are cut and paste from past reviews. If you want a fresh start in the Field Service. This may be the bottom feeder position. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this job to anyone unless you want to play Russian roulette. Your morale will steep every year as you see, there are no advancement and their training and skills training are more geared for their customers and not for the company value.
