Pros

Benefits are excellent, pay is competitive

Cons

It seemed like a dream environment. Relaxed, supportive, flexible. But they do no have to follow federal employment laws and there is no protection for employees against discrimination and retaliation. You can have a perfect record on the job, and be fired out of the clear blue sky, and there's nothing to be done about it.

Good benefits, nice co-workers and get to help my tribe.

Cons

Never in my wildest dreams would I think a Native American company would not have any holidays for their corporate employees. I understand that we have paid time off but corporate employees not getting Christmas or Christmas Eve or even Thanksgiving off without using PTO is ridiculous for a native American company, either give holidays off or add more PTO. Just like all of the other casinos in Oklahoma. I cannot think of one company that doesn’t give holidays to their corporate employees.
