Pros
- Good culture in other departments - Pay is decent for intern work
Cons
When you start here you are given a description of what your roles and responsibilities will entail. Then when people are added to the “team” your roles shift to them and you are given new roles and responsibilities that seem very reactive to whatever situations arise. They pay a freelancer double for inconsistent performance than anyone in the department is making and to only works half the time… when there are capable people in exists on the team that can do that job. They waste money in this department on campaigns that do not work. There is no structure or strategy in this environment and you will be hindered in any attempt at growth, creativity or improvement in your role. So, if you are looking for a strategic marketing position do not continue to look into a role in this Marketing department. People come in, people leave once a year and they have for the last five years and they will continue to leave because no one cares about the issues going on here. Human resources has been aware for quite a while but continues to brush it off.
