A great experience but not for everyone

Pros

Once you have formed a solid relationship with leaders and considered part marketable by Sales guys, you will have a great experience.

Cons

It is hard to get in good with leaders even if you are exceptionally good at what you do - not that the leaders are bad but they are more traditional, and put more focus on what Sales and the CEO wants - which is based on research and what's sexy, not on what makes actual money and has potential. Some leaders are great, and are exceptions, though. Offshore talent is horribly misused by its leaders.

Pros

Some of the people were great to work with and went above and beyond to support key team members. Unfortunately, they were spread thin.

Cons

Poor Leadership, Zero Direction, People leaving or let go often, and several individuals who were key or teams that were key were left unsupported. I know of several who saw a salary decrease and a worse job title when RCG took over the previous company including a benefit package that was clearly worse. The CEO was even shaming individuals internally by email in the company for not filling out a time sheet which is unheard of for salaried workers and threatened those that didn't fill this out would face a penalty (again unheard of). While working here, I truly felt like just a number with no support from any of our teams. Even my boss had told me that it wouldn't be a bad idea to start looking for something new as there was no direction.

Pros

None; No competitive advantage anyone can find. Struggles to delivery anything; offshore model is broken; better find another vendor to serve you; some individual consultants are good at US on shore if you can get them but these are few in between.

Cons

No leadership ; No investment in employees; no clear business model; no strategic direction or planning; Group think coming from large concentration of offshore IT executives that have no competency in Big4 or how to run a professional services firm; if that is what you are interested. If you are interested in outsourcing, staffing augmentation, for basic IT services it might be a fit for you if the value-add proposition is there.
