Pay is terrible given the current economic conditions. Really not worth the time unless you’re fine with being broke. If you’re gonna pay around $10/h then don’t have a bi-weekly schedule. You’re expected to have the knowledge of a mechanic while being paid like a McDonald’s employee. Most stores are understaffed, managers are selfish as hell. My manager takes TWO HOUR LUNCHES while the rest of us are stuck waiting for him to come back before somebody else can go to lunch. Benefits aren’t that great, you’re better off just finding your own plans off or stride. Franchise owner doesn’t care about safety when it comes to hazardous weather conditions. We had a bad winter storm and he sent out an email that we were still gonna be open while the majority of our clients were closed due to weather.

Yes you do have benefits but you're not allowed to use them. As a store manager of you do use your benefits such as paid time off you get penalized by upper management. Store Manager is a salary position and the expected work week is 50hrs. You will not be working 50. You will be working between 70-80 hrs a week and upper management demands this although it's totally illegal according to FLSA. Office politics takes the roll of how well you do with this company. Not your performance.
