Pros

Web based documentation, inventory tracking, billing, communications, customer service and support, equipment operating and maintenance.

Cons

As a parts department for a rendering plant there are a lot of confusion in the warehousing area that are easily confused and miss labeled as there are too many people touching the product.

Pros

Awesome Owners, great Coworkers, online system, quality of parts, flexibility of hours, paid time off, ability to advance, time outside the store.

Cons

Pay isn't very high but it is manageable, overtime makes up for it. Can be hectic at times, sometimes a little overwhelming. Nothing too bad though.

Frustrating Contradictions

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Competitive pay, great supplier support, continued training, room for advancement. District & operations managers promoted from within which means they're always willing to pitch-in to help because they've been in your position and respect what you do.

Cons

Corporate can't stop talking about the importance of customer service but won't allow proper staffing levels in the store to achieve it. Store managers spend 85% of their time as a counter person instead of being allowed to manage the store. This takes focus away from important tasks such as (but not limited to) being able to cultivate employees, visit wholesale customers, be available to support counter staff, find ways to better manage P&L, organize promotions, & investigate inventory discrepancies.
