Pros

Wonderful team members, casual and flexible work environment, an HR team that actually cares about the real people who work here. Time off is pretty generous. Definite focus on retaining people and encouraging hiring from within.

Cons

There is a good old boys network at the executive level, which doesn't mesh with the "trendy software company" vibe NAVEX is going for. Sales team needs better training and leadership, which I understand is a priority going forward (a positive thing). Need true accountability for lack of training and for treating each other with respect and kindness.

Thank you for your message. I appreciate you taking the time to acknowledge where we have been doing well and where we can improve. We have hired a new sales trainer and a corporate trainer who will assist in leadership training, both of which will address the concerns you noted.

Pros

Casual office; flexible terms of employment such as work from home days

Cons

All talk, no action. The Charlotte office is second-tier to the Portland office at all times. There is no upward mobility unless you work in the Portland office.

Based on your comments, I looked into our internal promotions that reflect the upward mobility you are not seeing. This year so far, 12 promotions to new roles have been awarded to team members out of our Charlotte office, while 13 have been out of our Portland office. Our numbers don't show a huge difference between the two offices, but we will continue to collaborate across all of our locations to improve the perception giving rise to your feedback. Antiquated Product with uncaring management

Easy job because nothing is organized

Cons

Management/Executives do not care about the people actually solving customer problems. The products are antiquated and not easy to use.
