Pros

Quick & flexible interview process/fantastic HR and recruiting team - they are working their butts off, and still have the time to speak to their candidates, and answer questions/concerns that candidates have. The managers overall are great. There are always positions posted, so as long as you have the qualifications, there are plenty of opportunities to move up/around the business. People who say that NAVEX Global doesn't have opportunities for advancement, aren't doing their job and applying - there are plenty of open opportunities if you look. Great flexibility with work from home/time off options. It's a business so obviously we need to get time off approved, but if I'm sick or have something else to take care of, I can easily work from home/another location. Monthly lunches/breakfasts to just say 'good job.' The CEO sends out quarterly (or more) emails to the entire staff, praising teams/staff, and giving us updates on what is happening with the company; what other companies do that?

Cons

Benefits - high deductible medical sucks when you have to go to the doc for anything beyond a routine yearly check-up. It'd be nice to have another option, though it is better than no insurance. Comp - we all make enough to survive off, but comp isn't always in line with state/federal norms, and it'd be nice to have a raise based on housing, since the Portland area is expensive these days.

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts! I appreciate each point you have made as it's helpful to understand what is working well in addition to things we need to keep working on. Compensation is definitely a very tough topic for any organization - if you have thoughts or questions regarding your personal pay, please drop by and I would be happy to review this with you! Thanks again!
