A new executive with the confidence to be humble and listen and learn from a highly respected and knowledgeable team of professionals, could have avoided a major downside in the morale and quality of the company’s services. Employees should save well, and have a backup plan since the company routinely and without warning or cause terminates employees on a whim to change structure. They often terminate small groups at a time and refer to it as Reduction in Force, but there is no actual resulting reduction since the execs create positions for their friends and hire them. Basically, you can be paid well and learn a lot, but do so under great stress and poor leadership. It’s not a terrible trade off if you keep yourself prepared for a sudden job loss.
