Pros
I've been at NEOGOV for over a year, and this is definitely a great place to work for the entrepreneurial-type worker. You're given a lot of responsibility from day 1 and have the opportunity to make a large impact on an already successful organization. Everyone is extremely friendly and upper management has a constant eye out for ways to improve the company both internally and externally. The Costco-stocked fridge is nice, but it's great working for a company that tries to get its employees involved outside of the office with sports leagues, happy hours, and other company-sponsored events. Overall, I've been very satisfied with time here, and I'm definitely intrigued as to how the company will continue to grow with it's expansion into the private sector.
Cons
If you're the type of person who expects change to happen by itself, this probably isn't the company for you. NEOGOV rewards the doers and risk-takers of the working world, so if you want something done, bring it up to management and take it upon yourself to see it through completion.
