Pros

Reasonable shift length for television production (8 hours) Decent amenities in-office Decent pay Two excellent company parties for Christmas and the Commissioner's Awards Nice to be around ALL THAT FOOTBALL BABY Pension

Cons

Corporate feel Many, many, many employees hired as seasonal or part-time employees so the league doesn't have to pay benefits Lots of jockeying and power plays by people who take themselves too seriously Employees are expendable Company does not care about your personal career development No employee match on the 401(k) even if you're full-time

Pros

Saying you work for the NFL and being in a world all about football.

Cons

Employees are seen as imminently replaceable in a place with high turnover.
