Pros

- The senior leadership team is incredibly talented. They've developed a culture that encourages innovation at all levels. They have proven that they believe in developing talent from within and that they genuinely care for their employees. This team is the strongest I've worked for. - NIC is hungry to do more and to do it great. The environment is not one where careers grow stale. - The latest technology is always in play. For a technologist, the environment allows great growth opportunity. - The talent level is high. There are many very smart people to work alongside.

Cons

The concerns I had 2 years ago no longer exist. This is a solid company.

Pros

Great coworkers. Get in & get the job done type of people for the most part.

Cons

Management is being brought in without having first gone through the trenches which means they have no idea what the people doing the work are actually doing or having to deal with day to day. The original idea of the company was promotion from within you start at the bottom & work up, that is no longer an option, the career paths are no longer used. The national conferences are only for management personnel now, the grunts are no longer needed to go & learn new things or present new ideas to the whole company, which takes away from where this company began - 2 guys in a basement working their butts off to make it great.

Pros

Great leadership and corporate culture. Individual offices have a lot of autonomy so you have to make sure you get in with a good group.

Cons

Only client is State government so the process can move slowly and it can get very monotonous. Its not the most interesting client to work with at times.
