Pros

You get a good discount, online too on the app. You also get PTO as a part-time.

Cons

Maybe it was where I worked but managers were terrible. They allow customers to walk all over you. They are not flexible with the hours you work even if you are part-time.

Pros

Work-life balance is there, you can truly work 40 hours a week or less and still succeed. Summer hours are great, benefits are great, 401k matching is awesome. This is the perfect place to finish your career and coast into retirement. Also, looks great on your resume if you are early-career.

Cons

Duplicate work. The business has tension between "buy" vs. "build" and often has external vendors (or recently-acquired startups) competing against internal teams to build solutions. Vendors often win, which can be demoralizing for FTEs. Lots of work gets abandoned. Internal teams need to dedicate a lot of bandwidth to selling their work rather than doing their work. Huge organizational complexity. Death by meetings. So many meetings.

Pros

I was concerned about the size of the company and whether I’d be just a number or truly appreciated. This company is doing everything they can to do things right. They listen, they care. I’m truly blown away by my experience thus far! Great benefits, leader accessibility and truly thoughtful leadership a pleasant surprise.

Cons

Ability to prioritize and say no. It’s a challenge. Also the ability to work remotely if the job isn’t tied to corporate.Nike needs to evolve here. Even in collaborative environment employees are demanding this nowadays. Have to find ways to make it work.
