Pros

Free soup, milk, ice tea, coffee, crackers and oatmeal. It used to be a great place to work and they took care of their employees and the employees would speak highly of the company. Those days are gone. They give the appearance of caring but that is all smoke and mirrors.

Cons

If you want to work your butt off and be scrutinized and told only about errors you made this is the place for you. If you only want negative feedback as a motivator come and work here. Mind you, the errors found have no affect on the outcome of the claim or service given and you can try your best but get used to being told “You’re doing ok but .....” If you are a conscientious hard worker who prides themselves on being thorough and efficient it will not be good enough. Your emails will be read. Your phone calls will be listened too and every detail of your work can and will be looked at and reviewed. They adhere to micromanagement like it is the best thing since sliced bread. All your excellent work will be viewed as Expected and any error no matter how minor will be brought to your attention personally or in a meeting. Meetings to discuss inconsequential mistakes are routine . Written warnings are given out like candy at Halloween. They fire good workers saying they aren’t productive enough. They repeatedly advise employees they are “at will” and can fire you for no reason. If you ever go back at them in any way they will target you. If you are young and pretty you’ll do ok but that’s a whole other story.

Pros

Benefits, 401k and pto time

Cons

The whole reason I took this job was to work from home. I could work o.t and be home. It worked so well. Now that our ceo has decided to make his pockets deeper and insult his employees intelligence, not so much anymore. Any intelligent person can read right through the b.s excuse of too many errors. If that was the case then implement something to help address the errors. Working in the office has honestly given us all the opportunity to compare notes. There's more gossip going on now than ever before. I am spending more money now to go into the office for gas, childcare, food, wear n tear on my car etc for what?!? All for a tax break.

Pros

- 401(k) matching - Pay differential for working evenings and/or Saturdays - Decent training - Paid insurance education opportunities - Friendly and supportive coworkers - Free soup/oatmeal

Cons

- Micromanagement to the point of distraction. Minimal autonomy. - Slow promotions: it may take years for you to even become a Senior Licensed Account Rep - Extremely repetitive call center work. Not much variation especially since your schedule is already planned out for you. It is considered a problem if you deviate too much from your set schedule. Any time spent not taking calls, including bathroom breaks, are monitored. - Limited career opportunities available for reps outside of the contact center - Extremely difficult to use PTO freely. Often required to bid a year in advance for days off. Hard to take time off after bidding is done - Mandatory Saturdays for 2 years after starting
