Pros

You will get promoted if you are a 'Yes Person' and 'befriend' the right people; regardless of your knowledge , competence and work ethic.

Cons

Unfair Business Practices, no loyalty to their employees, Supervisors who sexually harass employees and/or have inappropriate sexual relationships (to which those employees conveniently end up getting promoted), unable to take time off for emergencies/or when your child is sick without being chastised and told that you have to find other arrangements for childcare. Managers who can't teach, motivate or lead.

Not a good place to work

Pros

Once you hit 15 years you get 27 vacation days but it’s hard to use them because once you take some time off when you come back, your work doesn’t get even if someone’s covering your desk.

Cons

Besides, the fact that every claims adjuster is extremely burned out and overworked they are now making us come back into the office three days a week. That is absolutely ridiculous. Don’t they understand employees are more productive at home. They are bringing us back because they say some people are making mistakes. Well, then make those people come back in and everyone else who’s doing their job can work from home fully remote. Three days a week in office is ridiculous on top of the insane claim workload for adjusters. And start paying your employees more. There are companies out there that pay 30% more for doing the same job. Why would I stay at NJM if I can get paid more and be fully remote at some other company and not be overworked and underpaid at NJM.

Pros

Free Soup, Free Milk, Free Oatmeal, Pay is decent

Cons

Hard to take time off, no flexibility what so ever, micro-managed down to the second, very stressful environment, management do not know how to properly manage. If you have kids, NJM is not the place for you.
