I started at this company in 2018. It seemed like a good opportunity to work in an industry that I was already familiar with. I was a little spooked by the history of this company but understood that the company was under new management and was told things had changed. For what its worth, I wasn't here before the change in leadership. From my understanding though, it was ran like a frat house and it was out of control. The CEO was arrested for putting a hit out on someone and his brother took over the company. The new CEO is not involved with the company. The only time he steps in to do anything is when its time to complain about how the work isn't being done fast enough. The CEO runs this business like a sweat shop and also has no experience working in this field prior to taking over the company. The CEO has a bad attitude, doesn't take criticism well, is quick to take away benefits but very slow to add them. His lack of presence at the company makes it obvious that he doesn't really care all that much about the company or its people, he is just concerned with his bottom line. They hired a sales manager who is just as clueless as the CEO. The sales staff is full of incompetent people who despite having years of experience, have no idea how a website is built or marketed. The sales staff only cares about having the sites launched so they can start collecting their monthly payments. The social media team is also full of people who have no idea what they are doing. Their lack of experience is no doubt costing clients money. Their posts are uninspired and have no thought put behind them. Again, it's all about the bottom line, not the quality of work that's put out. The turnover rate at this company is really high too, probably because the pay is so low and the ones building the websites are expected to work overtime without receiving any pay for it.
