A place to start, not a great place to stay
Pros
-Plenty of talented people here to learn from. -Accepts people newer to an accounting career. -Opportunites to practice learning to be sufficient in your workload. -Chances to really apply and grow your accounting knowledge if your manager lets you work on such projects.
Cons
-Certain people in management/partners get extremely nasty. -Raises will not come to you or be very low as an AAE. -Workload can be intense. You’ll have to do overtime but partners get frustrated by you charging minutes. -Almost all desks are overworked/understaffed. -No real advancement opportunites unless someone leaves the firm. -New HR team they hired is completely tone-deaf and not helpful. -Compensation is low compared to other competitors. -Training is very subpar.
