Pros

Very friendly at first and welcoming. Nice place to work, Nice area.

Cons

Extremely political, wait till run to the manager with everything they see you do over petty crap. Separated each piece of the work for different employees which you don’t learn everything. Not that great of wages. Structure The billing is questionable give the employees a chance to do the work instead I was putting the important stuff on certain managers so then you learn nothing. The whole time. Supervisor may need some more training in dealing with employees.. I moved on as soon as I could.

Progressively Worse Decline

Pros

Brand new equipment and initially, good coworkers, but the hiring process became more and more lenient as they hired less and less qualified individuals who would be your partner on your unit

Cons

Management was initially good, but became terrible. They were initially super transparent in terms of understanding that this was a stepping stone for future jobs in healthcare, law enforcement, or firefighting, but became more and more aggressive in implementing new rules that made it restrictive for schedules. Management also were so contract-focused that your EMT skills would start to decline and there was no leadership to follow, so it became the blind leading the blind, as new EMTs were being set up with even newer EMTs. I would personally not allow my own relative to be transported by these individuals at this point in time.

Pros

Most of the staff is pleasant, CEO/Hr are cool, location isn’t bad

Cons

Management or lack there of, really one person plays all roles!! A manager and “leads” who have no authority. Speak up if you want a write up, dress code is optional depending on who you are, directive changes daily but is usually verbal so no way to C.Y.A. overall communication between management and staff sucks. Best way to move up, watch everything and report it to “management”. Billers are Encouraged to Bill, Bill, Bill not correctly just get the claim out, mainly because management doesn’t understand all lines of business (just Medicare).the collections department still not really sure what they do? Some are billers too others just sit at there desk on there cell phones and surf the internet. Benefits could be better, and the pto/vacation bank is a joke
