Pros
I was hired here for my first EMT job out of school. They provided a great working environment for someone very green, with a ton of opportunities to grow as my experience expanded. Norcal was a great fit for me as well, being accommodating of my second job and school. Norcal is a growing company, which was evident in the many changes in policy, equipment, and staff that occurred. Growth can be hard, but Norcal was extremely communicative of changes, and I always felt like a supervisor was available if I had any questions or concerns. Can't recommend them enough!
Cons
As a new hire I was asked to be open to work in Lodi stations (I live in Sacramento). Commuting was not my favorite thing to do, but after ~3 months I was able to find shifts that worked for me in Sacramento.
