Sporadically, we received free food.

Cons

NRG pays fast food wages yet has steep expectations. Rather than working to empower and cultivate employees for upward growth, management actively reminds employees that they should be grateful for what the company give them because they aren’t likely to find employment elsewhere. Your accomplishments aren’t your own nor are they celebrated. Instead, you’re reminded that your accomplishments aren’t a reflection of your efforts but someone else’s.

Not much. Promised a lot, but didn't follow through.

Cons

Said a lot of perks in the interview, but found out it was not true. A lot of micromanaging and feeling like you were always under a microscope. Ran behind one day and was told I was consistently late. I was at work before my boss, but told Im the one late. They don't care about work life balance. Was told there is room for WFH at times due to life happens type of instances, but was made to feel like I was wrong to do so. Pressured to work over expected hours even when upper management would leave early. Employees are always taking bad about each other and can feel really overwhelming. Pay it not worth the work.

-They are NOT corporate consolidators. -You are allowed autonomy -A real open door policy -They truly care about their employees and tell them on a regular basis -Encourgement from management -Exceptional leadership -Flex-time -Decent salary -Opportunity for growth

Cons

-Because of how hard to hire people is today, some jobs are left empty for extended period of time -Younger managers are still learning how to be managers, as opposed to being friends, which can lead to lack of work life balance and lack of staff accountability.
