Pros

- Good work environment - An above average cafeteria

Cons

- Completely untalented IT people. - Have absolutely no respect for employees under them. - Zero direction as to what they exactly want to do. - Give you false promises. - Work 70 hrs a week and absolutely get no appreciation for that.

A good start, but...

Pros

Flexibility with scheduling. Everyone starts at 18 days of PTO. Management has a very hands off approach. They are one of the few companies that will hire recent graduates.

Cons

There is very little communication within the company, especially with remote employees. Remote employees truly are remote, you will have no contact or interaction with coworkers. Training is not consistent or sometimes nonexistent. Management constantly cancels team calls, leaving the team with no information. I often have to find out about updates and changes from the clients because NSF does not care to inform their employees. Management positions are assigned to the favorites, leaving all qualified applicants with no chance at advancement. Many promises are made, but never followed through. Employees are expected to work 50-60 hour work weeks. However, time cards will always read that I only worked 40 hours. Often times, I have to drive five hours in a day or spend my day off traveling, but I am never credited for any of that time. I was regularly forced to go into dangerous areas alone. When I expressed my safety concern to my manager, I was called a liar and told that I would go if I wanted a job. There is very high turnover, which constantly causes the employees that stick around to be overloaded with work. There is no compensation for this extra work. The schedule is variable. Management may change your schedule with no notice and you have no choice but to go. You will never really know when you are getting home from work or when you won't be in town.

Pros

Nice people, clean, always more work to be done if you are proactive

Cons

They basically refused to even consider me for the full-time gig they had open, despite my performance as an intern and my educational background. Management can also be improved dramatically.
