There is very little communication within the company, especially with remote employees. Remote employees truly are remote, you will have no contact or interaction with coworkers.
Training is not consistent or sometimes nonexistent.
Management constantly cancels team calls, leaving the team with no information. I often have to find out about updates and changes from the clients because NSF does not care to inform their employees.
Management positions are assigned to the favorites, leaving all qualified applicants with no chance at advancement.
Many promises are made, but never followed through.
Employees are expected to work 50-60 hour work weeks. However, time cards will always read that I only worked 40 hours. Often times, I have to drive five hours in a day or spend my day off traveling, but I am never credited for any of that time.
I was regularly forced to go into dangerous areas alone. When I expressed my safety concern to my manager, I was called a liar and told that I would go if I wanted a job.
There is very high turnover, which constantly causes the employees that stick around to be overloaded with work. There is no compensation for this extra work.
The schedule is variable. Management may change your schedule with no notice and you have no choice but to go. You will never really know when you are getting home from work or when you won't be in town.
