"Nonprofit public health" If you saw how they treat thier own employees it would raise some serious red flags on thier concern for anyone else but themselves and keeping this company's head above water. Upper management and HR are very well trained to talk in circles. They avoid engaging in conversations and questions about very very serious company issueS (yes with a capital S on issueS). In simple words manipulative and disorganized.

This is the most toxic place I've ever worked, by far. Not worth the toll to your mental health. Gaslighting, lying, and straight up shady practices from multiple people at the organization. No communication top-down. Negative and fear based culture. They do not care about employees. Entire IT department was replacing workers with H1B workers, which is not legal. Massively overworked. No upward mobility. Expected to wear every hat possible. Don't do it.
