Upper management doesn't understand the processes and time it takes to assist someone with multiple policies. You are micro-managed, taking time off can be difficult. If the company decides that the pay for your position is too low when they are recruiting they will raise the incoming wage but not the wages of current employees.

NTT seems to operate by buying a lot of smaller companies and then gradually making the employees who came over miserable. Everything about NTT was a downgrade: my benefits got worse, my PTO dried up, my bonus plan disappeared, the internal websites are difficult to use, upper management are shells of former human beings at best. No culture, no quality, no empathy, and the only consistency they have is consistently getting worse.
