      Pros

      The ability to work remotely when not traveling to a client site allows for a good work/life balance. The company is large and diverse with multiple opportunities available for those willing to work for them. The projects are engaging and the work is challenging without being overwhelming. There are plenty of learning opportunities as well.

      Cons

      Being a small cog in a very large wheel came sometimes feel like you get lost in the shuffle. In a company that thrives on mergers and acquisitions, it can be heartbreaking and life-changing in a negative way when your division is divested from the company and you are found adrift.

      Pros

      The excellent Dimension Data companies are a great place to work, with some exceptions (see Cons).

      Cons

      The US divisions of the otherwise excellent Dimension Data companies are inexplicably unwilling to accept that they are owned by Dimension Data, which is a fatal flaw that will ultimately harm Dimension Data. If you join this company and accidentally let anyone know that you believe that the Dimension Data acquisition (which happened more than three years ago) your job will be in jeopardy: you will likely be ostracized and eventually fired without warning. Don't accept a job for Dimension Data in the US. You will regret it.

      Laid Off After 3 Months Employment

      Pros

      DD seems to have great clients and great team members.

      Cons

      DD knew they were going thru a corporate merger with NTT and they laid off 10% of their workforce as a part of that. I was only there 3 months when I got laid off - and left a great job at a company I was with for 16 years after being heavily recruited for DD.
