NV5 being a large engineering group, we get a lot of different opportunities and some really interesting clients and projects. The work atmosphere is great and they are flexible and family-oriented.

Cons

Due to COVID, recruitment has been more difficult.

Pros

Generous stock bonuses to make everyone a shareholder in the company. There are limitless resources at every engineer's finger tips. CEO Dickerson Wright and President Alex Hockman spend a lot of time in each office. Their doors are always open and they are eager to support every individual in pursuing work that their employees want. They acquired the company that I worked for and they did not impose any burden that usually come with mergers and acquisition. The culture, benefits, and work/life balance stayed exactly the same.

Cons

It's a large publicly traded company (for those who don't like that)
