Don't believe the Power Delivery interview fairytale

Pros

- Many new client opportunities due to offices across the country - Corporate willing to invest in productivity software and strategic hires with in-depth business plan, if you can beat out internal competition

Cons

- No vision or strategy with senior leadership. Repeating the same errors and bad processes is acceptable as long as client pays for it. - Quantity over quality culture. Either keep your utilization up by stacking billable jobs, or socialize off-site with senior management to stay off corporate's radar, - No accountability with poor performers and missed deadlines. All that matters is you can keep billing your time somewhere. - Stock bonuses don't vest at all until 3-year anniversary, with rare/minimal cash bonuses. You lose it all if you quit before 3 years.

Pros

Good training and experience for fresh graduates and lots of hands-on work which will help to build your CV.

Cons

Poor support from management on overtime tasks Extremely poor communication from upper management Poor work-life balance Mediocre salary compared to competitors Often issues with upper management telling you to do conflicting things, then getting angry at the employee rather than discussing the conflict with the other management staff. Regularly cutting corners and under-delivering on projects, then making excuses (often with the juniors taking the blame despite the PM being the one responsible for planning the project). Poorly negotiated contracts by management meaning projects need to be delivered in an unrealistic timeframe in less hours than are actually needed. The result is unclean data and regular service interruptions/issues that no one has time to deal with.
