Pros

- allows you to grow and learn skills above your title - willing to hire with no previous experience - flexible schedule - education continuation options - great discounts for your pets (depending on location) - opportunity to meet amazing support staff, technicians and DVMs

Cons

- limited/poor health benefits - compensation is not adjusted as you acquire more skills and take on more tasks - hard work goes unnoticed by higher ups - often feels like the goal is to make the company more money, rather than providing quality care - work conditions can be sometimes be poor due to corporates lack of investment in infrastructure

Pros

health care plan and 401k and other benefits

Cons

Poor regional management across the board. Regional corporate supervisors and directors for the most part are not trained in veterinary medicine, and have no previous experience in veterinary medicine, Very high turnover at most hospitals. Low wages for support staff.
