Pros

Working with animals and people who share that passion

Cons

Very low pay not in alignment with expectations. All the focus is on money profit, with ever increasing cost hikes to patients. Lack of autonomy to promote and take care of employees. Refusal to hire when staff is needed.

Pros

Really no pros at this point

Cons

This company will keep staff who is abusive and promote staff who is abusive as long as they have drunk the koolaid and are doing what they want them to. They’d rather keep it in the family. They do not care about their employees’ well being; it is all about profit. They will overwork everyone until burnout. Their benefits and pay are absolute trash. They nitpick hours but will try to squeeze the most work out of you in the fewest hours for the lowest pay possible. I will absolutely never work for this company again and will tell everyone I know not to.

Pros

Growth Opportunities, maintained practice culture, resources were plentiful

Cons

Revenue and budget benchmarks were the focus, rolled out company wide initiatives and goals even if it didn’t align with practice’s demographics and values. Constant price increases, 1-2 per year.
