Pros

I worked at NVA for approximately a year and 3 months. Flexible hours and decent pay. Positive atmosphere most of the time.

Cons

Absolutely no chance of growing beyond your job other then full time. They micromanage your attendance to the point it feels like a labor camp. Revolving door of temporary employees. Service Level suffers because of poor scheduling. Also, if you’re not part of the circle or clique, your just another face being passed over for promotions.

Pros

Pay is good but don't count on raises. Great Technicians work here and it's great as a learning environment.

Cons

Not a healthy work environment. Not family owned anymore, so chain of command is hard to get a hold of. I liked working here about a year and a half ago when it was quality over quantity, now it's quantity over quality because we are understaffed over worked and underpaid for the work load that gets piled on us.

Extremely toxic culture

Pros

Working with animals and employees who care about the animals

Cons

Incredibly toxic work environment and culture. Subpar compensation, lack of growth opportunities, and an HR team that does not support and advocate for the employees or protect against harassment. Leadership is 99.9% male and female executives do not support other women in the organization. The executives claim to believe in “servant leadership” but in practice all that means is the corporate teams are overworked and under appreciated. Stay away from this company.
