Horrible place to work

There is nothing good about this company.

Cons

Management is horrible! They keep saying we must be team players which for them means we need to snitch on each other. If we don't we are not team players. If we disagree with them we are considered argumentative. Management constantly calls people and texts them on their days off to discuss work related issues. They continually make you work by yourself in a very busy high stress environment. They say they will help but then they will say something came up and we just have to work at it and do the best we can. Then they get after us if we make mistakes.

can't think of any at this point

-extremely micro-managed -roles/responsibilities changes monthly or day to day -schedule changes monthly (sometimes more often) and will change from a 8/10/12 hour shift with a change from day to night shift -you can't schedule time off in advance due to not knowing what schedule you will be on (you have to put in by the middle of each month to take pto the following month ) -working environment is toxic (medical shows no interest in working with mental health for treatment): (it's security, then medical, then mental health) -favoritism is shown throughout.. don't waste your time applying for a position coming opened in upper management because it's already filled.

None that I've seen so far

Cons

Poor benefits, if they miss-pay you good luck getting what they owe, pays less than other similar jobs, no upper management help, no IT help, "good-ol-boy" system of advancement, the charting system is fine for small jails, not for nearly 40000 inmates in the prison system
