Pros

If you want to gain experience in cell free DNA tests this may be the place. Great way to experience how not to run a company. If you're lucky you may report to an executive who will provide examples of how not to be a leader on a daily basis.

Cons

Turnover is higher here than anywhere in the Bay Area. That's because literally any other job is better than working here. Except maybe Theranos.... CEO doesn't have the skills to lead a company this size. He has created a caustic unproductive environment that is reflected in his top trusted leaders' behavior. All competent and experienced leaders have already abandoned ship. You won't be trusted to do your job. Even if you have years of experience, someone with a Stanford MBA and absolutely no experience doing what you do will know how to do your job better. And you will be reminded of that on a daily basis. You won't learn much here other than that you aren't smart and your leaders are.

Pros

Fast paced work with smart people. Opportunity to see how a potentially good company can fail (big time.)

Cons

Highly dysfunctional leadership. Lack of unity in vision and execution. Poor morale leading to worse morale leading to mass exodus. rinse and repeat annually.

Horrible management, untrained and does not look out for you, favoritism; not by how hard you work but by who they know personally.
