      Challenging, fun and worth working on

      Pros

      The culture is one of getting things done and making the product a huge success. It is not for those that want to take it easy at work. All the people I see each day want to be challenged and work hard on something that is worth working on. I am of the opinion that it is better to work products here than some marketing app in the valley. These products are changing the world and the challenge is worth the effort I my mind. I am enjoying myself and it is fun. There is free food weekly which I enjoy as it saves me money and also forced me to eat healthy at work.

      Excited to come to work each day

      Pros

      I have found Natera to be a great place to work. I have enjoyed he challenges of the work and also my team mates. I certainly know that people work hard but we are all working towards a common goal and this company is doing things no one has done before. It is very exciting to come to work each day and be challenged. I enjoy the fast moving hard work ethic here. Some of the best minds in the industry come into the office every day and I am lucky to be able to interact with them and learn from them.

      Cons

      This is not corporate America folks! They could have more team events to enable me to get to meet more people outside of my team. Would like to have more v action days.

      Pros

      This is a culture that takes care of its own. When our newborn son was diagnosed with cancer, the team at Natera rallied in support, including the executives. My managers gave me sufficient flexibility with work hours to manage hospital trips and schedule uncertainty, and many of the medical directors and scientists reached out to their colleagues around the country to help us identify the best medical path. The CEO personally helped us review the medical literature to better understand our treatment options. I am very thankful to work in a company with so much heart.

      Cons

      As we all work super hard to achieve Natera's mission, with the occasional roadblocks and disappointments along the way, the Natera community is built on a solid foundation with individuals who show a lot of heart and who look out for one another.
