Pros

There are lots of opportunities to grow in this company. The people are great. The culture is awesome. It is still at a stage where you can see direct results of all your hard work.

Cons

Company growth is so fast, it is hard to keep up.

Pros

-You will work with brilliant people. -You have the opportunity to "rise in the ranks" quickly. Because the company is small, each employee has high visibility and Natera is good at promoting from within. -The company culture has a high sense of purpose. This isn't just another tech company - the work Natera does is extremely meaningful and the culture reflects this. -You won't be micromanaged. Natera is still an entrepreneurial environment and employees enjoy high levels of autonomy.

Cons

-If you are looking for a strong training program or high levels of structure, this might not be the best environment for you. However, the company is working on implementing more processes, so if you enjoy putting structure around tasks, there is an opportunity for you at Natera.

Pros

Great science and products, co-workers/employees are smart, hard-working, fun, motivated people. Nice facility. Free food.

Cons

Upper management is a disaster. There is a cult-like following of an ineffective CEO who bullies employees (no joke - he has been observed many, many times screaming at people in the office) - and the rest of management thinks his way must be the only way. Recently lost both their CFO and VP of marketing - two voices of reason. No communication, no clear accountability or ownership if tasks, blame thrown around for screw-ups, every day is a fire drill, company is driven by sales and marketing (not science). Sales and marketing set *very* unreasonable timelines. No one works a 40-hour-week. Pay is NOT comparable to industry standards, even at the advanced-degree level. Lots of people leaving.
