Pros

NBS was a good place to work - good people, lots of flexibility, and the opportunity to learn and grow as much as one wants.

Cons

Lots of changes - not necessarily a bad thing - employees just have to be willing to roll with it.

Pros

National Benefit Services offers great benefits such as 401k plan, FSA, HSA medical coverage, identity protection program - all with employer contributions. Has loads of extracurricular activities and projects, company parties. Annual bonuses are pretty sweet.

Cons

National Benefit Services is a family-oriented company that often hires family members of senior leadership over other eligible candidates. It is great if you have a foot in the door but if you don't know anybody within a company, it is harder to move up and grow.

Pros

NBS is a great culture to work for. The company invests heavily in constant improvement and provides training and educational opportunities for all employees that reach far beyond any specified job description. The company is also very proactive in promoting from within. Multiple telecommuting positions also enhance the workforce.

Cons

Although they have compared salaries to some other companies, in reality, pay scales are not compatible to other like companies in our area. This is a source of contention for many current and former employees.
