You Will Be BANKRUPT Within 4-6 Months Working Here
Pros
Work from home 1 hour lunches
Cons
The Learning & Development Team finds it perfectly acceptable to lie and over-exaggerate the amount of commission you’ll receive as an agent. Promises of “as a new hire, we’ll feed you leads so you can earn a $10k commission” and lies of “the average agent on the floor right now is making $80k” are CONSTANTLY thrown around during training when in reality, the company has a HIGH TURNOVER rate caused by agents only making hourly pay due to a commission structure being centered around you working 60hr/week (which isn't available right now due to the over saturation of agents and shortage of leads) with any OT being paid at a rate of 0.5x because the Recruiters concealed that you’re hired on as a “Salary Non-Exempt” Employee. YES! “SALARY NON-EXEMPT” @ $31.2k/yr.. WHAT A JOKE! Speaking of Recruiters, they also tell you that you’ll be taking majority inbound calls, which is also a lie. On a good day, you’ll receive an inbound call every 20 minutes. In the 3 months I’ve been with the company, I can count the number of legitimate sales conversations I’ve had with inbound callers on both of my hands.. The majority of the inbound calls will be misroutes or clients calling and asking for their agent because they’re too inept to dial an extension, which is found on the email we’re QA required to send to them and advise them of when we call them. Aside from that, there will be times where you’ll wait 1-2 hours for an inbound call.. Management turns a blind eye to the problem and encourages you to skip breaks and only take a 30 minute lunch so that you’re always available.. It’s almost like the phone software is a slot machine but with no set payout.. While waiting for inbound calls, you’ll be dialing OUTBOUND to leads that have been previously worked by an agent and didn't ask for the file to be closed or continue to call leads as old as 6 months who still haven’t learned how to answer their phone for a program THEY INQUIRED ABOUT. If you complain about the phone system or lack of leads, you’re basically guaranteed to never receive a sale again as the lead assignment will cease and you’ll find yourself with 2-4x LESS LEADS than everyone else.. Keep in mind that commission is NOT guaranteed and you need these fresh leads to even stand a chance of making sales.. Meanwhile, executives are always sending out emails boasting about the record profits the company is generating while roughly 15% of their 1.2k agent sales force is actually receiving commission.. From the lack of leads to the over saturation of agents, NDR does a GREAT JOB ensuring their agents are practically working for FREE while they rake in record profits month after month. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
