Pros

Claims is Claims!! it is not an easy job. As a Property Claims adjuster I do have the freedom of working from home and I have been provided with the the tools and equipment to make that successful. At times volume can be high based on the current weather events. My manager understands that and does not expect everyone to be a super hero during those time. Options for working OT are available to those who want it and is nice to be able do that. Benefits: Company car which I can use for personal use (even my wife is able to drive it); expectations are reasonable; Work From home so I create my own schedule; Great people I work with, especially my manager; continued growth of the company through acquisitions will lead to even more opportunities; less stressful than other companies (believe me, been there);

Cons

I see some of these negative comments which I believe are mostly on the auto side of the business which I cannot comment other than I have been on that side of the business as well and it is not an easy job at times. There are many that cannot perform to the standards needed to handle claims and unfortunately they have a negative experience. Can be busy at times; could be a little farther ahead in technology but that seems to be moving along; benefits are so-so but I believe on average with other companies (High Deductible Plans come with medical spending account that the company contributes too though);
