Pros

Monday Thur Friday the hours are good and some of the employees and a couple of supervisors are real hard working honest people but it is unfortunate those are the ones who can not make changes or try and make things better it is not allowed.

Cons

Management is the worst I have ever seen in my 60 years of life not sure why or where they obtain these new unskilled no people skills from, Really sad place to work, the pay is not very good and the medical insurance is very expensive. But the management will surely run out all the employees and that division into the ground. Would not trust them with any of my insurance needs. Most recently they really hired the worst ever in Management.

Pros

You define yourself at this company. You truly can determine your own happiness or misery. I understand how you feel but it's a corporation. The bottom line is all that matters. Your productivity. Ethics and morality are not concerns. But as a manager stated in a prior review, this company is no different from any other large corporate entity. Don't stress yourselves out over personal convictions that don't fit corporate interests.

Cons

Take a step back and honestly assess if this job is your desired career. Does the cost (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc.) outweigh the benefits (pay, medical, livelihood). If costs outweigh benefits, then you may want to find another career. Life is too short to work somewhere that you cannot be happy with and accept the terms of employment. This not being unkind, this is being honest and helpful. This company is not going change it's business model because of social concerns from its employees. Let's be honest, NGIC does the best that it can as a company. They are not Google, they are an insurance company. Take a moment and think about what an insurance company does. Whether you can ethically accept this or not is up to you. I just don't see the logic in complaining to the extents on glassdoor and not changing jobs. I hope that you find peace in whatever jobs you may have or find.
