Pros

I've worked for the company over 6 months. Currently put my name in the hat, for the opportunity to prove myself and apply previous knowledge.

Cons

This is a good company to work for, I'll post an update in the future but am optimistic for growth opportunities since they typically hire external versus promote from within

Pros

salary was good. benefits were great. friendly co workers.

Cons

management was not manageable. did not consider suggestions. metrics on phone. this is a customer service business but they monitor the phones to make sure you are answering your phone. you can be on the phone with a customer and have to cut them off to answer the second line to put them on hold. it seemed to be rude and impersonal. you were set up for failure if you did not meet all metrics. the team had low moral and discouraged. no work/life balance. always working more hours than 8 in a day to try and keep up. not enough people to work high claims loads that were not manageable. i had no training but i lasted for 1yr and half. 3 employees were gone before me and believe there were going to be several after me. when i was there the regional manager was gone and also my supervisor gone. another supervisor in my unit stepped down and left also.

Pros

Pay is above average, at least for me. Not sure about others.

Cons

The structure of the company from immediate supervisors, middle management and VPs is completely absurd. If you aren't middle management or above, the buck will most certainly get passed on to you. Staffing is a joke with no rhyme or reason behind hiring practices and turnover is way too high for the number of employees at this company. Benefits are average or below average compared to the competition. Bonuses are a joke if you aren't in sales. Above average graded employees cap out at 3%, and part of your individual assessment is based on the company's success in meeting goals that you have very little input or influence on.
