Pros

I have made some great long life time friends during the time I was there. Work is super easy but not enough to go around.

Cons

Opportunity for growth doesn't exist. No raise or bonus for 2016 and the ability to work from home has been removed after working from home for many many years. Management prefers to fills leadership roles from outside the company or personal friends then hire within to promote employee loyalty or growth.

Had a loyal, dedicated and hard working staff. Owners failed the employees and the policyholders. Continuing to lose the people that made this place great and successful

Don't know where to start. Owners. Management being creative with numbers. Lies to employees to keep them in place until not needed any more

Steer clear of National General Hazard Claims Department

Unfortunately, I wish I could think of a few pros, but I cannot.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement in the claims department. The environment is "Do what I tell you to, when I tell you to, or you will be 'managed' out". People are treated like robots and threatened with performance plans on a regular basis. There is no concern for employee moral and zero opportunities for advancement. Steer clear of this organization.
